Internships
Access to internship opportunities is vital for career readiness with high school students. Fix It With Piggy internship programs offers tech and tech adjacent skill building roadmaps. We offer exposure to a variety of career choices, networking tasks to provide career opportunity connections and an independent work environment to enforce accountability and organization. Our interns are exposed to the use and practice of OKR’s and they all leave our program with recorded results of their growth so they can remain confident while they transition to the workforce on their own.
During our last cohort. Our interns partnered with community leaders, small business owners and change makers to host recorded interviews. They had complete creative control over this project. They covered the content, the interviewees, research, recording, editing and visuals! This project allowed them to gain insight on the journey of becoming a college student, college professor, business owner, entrepreneur and activists. Check out their work below!
